Land Rover Defender Slimline Storage Chest
The Slimline Chest load area cabinet is the perfect lockable storage box for in- vehicle security for Field Sports, Game Keeping and Camping alike!.
This great chest is a secure, multi-purpose, lockable unit that can fit on any flat surface. Although initially designed to fit in the load area of the Land Rover Defender – either fixed to the inner wheel arch or spanning the load area, this great locking box can be used in many vehicles from 4x4’s, vans, pick-ups and ATV’s.
This chest is constructed from strong, fully welded steel using the latest CNC high definition plasma cutting techniques to achieve a high quality, heavy duty, robust product.
High security locking is provided by the SouthCo sealed lever compression latch. This patented, award winning lever latch combines latch and door handle compatibility with key access for enhanced security.
A high grade rubber extruded boot seal is installed to keep unwanted dust or water out.
A fine fluted rubber mat on the interior floor protects valuable contents from scratches or marking.
The Slimline vehicle chest / cabinet is pre-treated with iron phosphate to BS3189 for increased powder adhesion and then powder coated in a durable black textured finish.
The stylish aluminium finisher compliments most vehicles especially the Land Rover Defender, however, for a more discreet and inconspicuous finish the black edition offers a black chest, finisher, lock and fastenings.
The Slimline Chest / cabinet can be securely fitted into any vehicle with the stainless-steel fittings supplied. Hexagonal nutserts are pre-installed into the base of the chest to allow easier installation and removal.
